Umajo

The Metalmakers of Umajo are the inhabitants of Umajo-Kenta and the surrounding desert. They are devoted to producing valuable metals, weapons and jewelry, knowing rituals for placating the Goddess. They export their metals and crafted implements all over Albion.

A rumor says that they employed the Kenget Kamulos against their assassins. A long time ago they held a strong monopoly which resulted to regular wars among humans, and now they hold influence to all humans great smiths.

Language

The Umajo seem to use the same or similar variation of Celtic as the Mahinos.

Trivia

  • The name of the nation is likely derived from the Proto-Celtic roots umájo[1] ‒ copper, bronze, brass, or maybe ore in general. It may be originally shortened from the name of their city, Umajo-Kenta.
