Intelligence
No discernible effect on gameplay
Dexterity
Used to evade traps when picking locks
Speed
Has the following effects in combat:
1. Determines attack order. Faster combatants always attack before slower combatants in a given round
2. Determines how many squares a player can move. A player with a speed of less than 50 can only move one space per turn. Players with a speed of 50-89 can move 2 spaces, and a speed of 90+ is needed to move 3 spaces
Stamina
No discernible effect on gameplay
Luck
Used to evade environmental traps on 3D maps
Magic Resistance
Has the following effects in combat:
1. Reduces damage from magic sources
2. Reduces the duration of negative magical effects
3. Can completely deflect a spell if resistance is high enough. The resistance needed to deflect a spell depends on the spell being cast, as well as the spells power level
Magic Talent
Effects how much a spell improves after each casting. A spells power level improves by 1% * (magic talent score) / 100 per casting. For example, if a caster has a magic talent score of 80, a spells power level will increase by 0.8% each time the spell is cast. In this case the spell would have to be cast 125 times to max out it's power level
